UNUSUAL THINGS THIS MONTH:
Kernie rehabilitated post operatively such that she is going to Europe this month.
Mark Volman died on the day I saw “The Roses”. Think opening song.
I had three doctor visits in three days, a first. All good!
MOVIES The Penguin Letters (Netflix). A period piece (Argentina in the 70’s) in English, dry wit and a quirky story line about an English teacher in a boys private school.
PODCASTS: The Medical Matchmaking Machine: Radiolab. The recent Florida abandonment of vaccine mandates is a bold move that will be scrutinized for years coming. Lastly, I have never understood why a religious exception makes sense for children attending a secular institution—the point in school is herd immunity and religion does not confer that to anyone…..
