Since trying to read Babbit as a High School student, I have been aware of the rather normal frictions between rural and urban societies. This from the NYT’s which I don’t think addresses the need for the Democratic Party to make themselves both heard and relevant to the sensibilities of those of us living in rural counties:

Environmental read: A reader of this blog offered up this website which is devoted to actions we can take in the day to day to reduce pollution. www.consumernotice.org/environmental/pollution-reduction/

Podcasts: Revisionaist History season 7 episode 4. Star struck—Did you know that Margaret Mitchell (author of Gone with the Wind) was killed by a drunk driver? Did this engage the country thinking about that loss and its setting?

Movies: Banshees of Inisherin —-it is quite quirky, even weird but well acted and worth a watch.

Travel: Merida!

Streaming TV: “Shrinking” on Apple TV—said to be a Ted Lasso Comparison—I disagree but it is engaging and darkly funny.
