Books: In Love by Amy Bloom—I have not read it but NYT review puts it on my to do list.
Alpha by David Philipps—Engaging book the object of which is this blog.
What It Is Like to Go To War by Karl Marlantes —I read this over a decade ago. With a Viet Nam veteran’s eyes, this researches and reflects back much of what we civilians do not know about what it means to go to war.
Movies:
Netflix: St Vincent. I don’t like Bill Murray very much but he was himself and managed to make this a wonderful
movie.
Amazon Prime: King Richard—I did not particularly want to see this given I am not so interested in tennis or sports but this story is so much larger than that. A must see.
