Streaming: Fargo season 5. HULU This may be the best of the lot.
Shetland season 8. PBS
Slow Horses season 3 APLLE TV —action packed when before this was a thoughtful, “mind game” sort of show.
Movies: To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant (Prime) It is much better than the Current Cary Grant biopic series.
Books: Cider House Rules John Irving. A timely novel indeed!
Liner Notes—Laudon Wainwright III—a favorite of mine who has proven unsteady in his artistic quality and output over the years—his biography reflects his own perceptions (and I think he agrees with me) regarding career and life.
Songs: Facebook has POST MODERN JUKEBOX— modern songs done in older styles. This idea has been percolating in me for years and perhaps stimulated by the Flying Burrito Brothers doing Country covers for soul tunes…..like Dark End of the Street. Bruce and I worked on a country version of “Knights in White Satin” complete with a twangy monologue in the middle.
